Looks like he did from the second photo but maybe overreached with too heavy a load?

Looks like a stand up meeting with the boss later on though…

There's a reason the usual building suppliers use 18/24/32 ton GVW trucks for hiab deliveries.

Surely not beyond the wit of man to fit sensors that sense the thing getting light on one end and stops you going any further.

I reckon you're right. Short rigged it so could park closer to the wall, to get the reach far enough into the property. Looks like there is plenty of space otherwise.

Or turned off the limit sensor and messed it up that way. Probably both!

One of my regular recovery places did similar. Didn't put a spreader plate down and the leg went through the pavement while lifting a Cayenne.
Luckily it didn't tip, but it did find it's way onto Tiktok.

They do but you can only reduce the radius not extend it.
My guess he has swung the crane to quickly, destabilising the truck and got it rocking on the suspension.

Ouch. Missed the white brick pillar by absolute millimeters, though! At least they won’t be adding a structural rebuilding bill on top of recovering the grab arm. Gravity always wins when you skip the outriggers.
