Well after lots of questions and looking at dealers etc we have finally took the plunge and bought this, it's an autotrail 2010 Mohawk model with 10,000 miles. Pick it up in a couple of weeks

Looks lovely.
Make sure you get a copy of the damp report when you pick up, buy yourself a tester and check it every two months Inc a week before the warranty expires, they're cracking vans but not immune to a bit of ingress even at a very young age.

Very nice.

Set the cruise control to 60, A/C on and point it towards Spain.

I know, we were looking at this and decided that with the resale values as high as they are we can keep it for a few years and not lose too much on it, hopefully

Jjust sold my camper. Hope you have lots of fun in yours. Just to warn you - you may find the ownership experience slightly akin to this (especially at selling time) :

Far as I can see they seem to hold their value pretty well when you look at the second hand prices ..... I will not be buying new.

Just go into it with open eyes. winkThe problem is, forecourt prices are ridiculously high & part-ex values are ridiculously low. The market is very small & the traders have it sown up. Very often, they won't buy stock in & will only sell on an SOR basis with huge commission. Mileage is everything to traders & buyers, despite these being commercial base vehicles which are aimed at touring. Furthermore, buyers tend to be fussy, risk averse & reluctant to buy privately. Hiring is expensive, but often a better route to take IMO, pound for pound.
