Mattress toppers for comfort
Discussion
In the World of classic camper vans the driver & passenger seats fold down flat(ish) forming the bed. This set up whilst convenient seems to offer little in the way of even a half way comfortable so.ution for a nights sleep. Can anybody with experience offer a steer towards a ‘topper’ that folds/rolls small but overcomes the seats to bed compromise.

How about either a memory foam topper (although that won't really store well) or a self-inflating sleeping mattress like those from Thermarest or Outwell:

The thicker they are the better to sleep on but bulkier to store & costs more.

Duvalay are very good
Also heard good stuff. On my list for caravan accessory purchases for next year. The bed is okay but a bit firm for my back. Also like that that you can get sheets that zip around them so making up the bed at night should be just, make up the bed, roll out the Duvalay, duvet and pillows, go to bed.oblio said:
We use a 5cm thick memory foam topper in our MH. I just go it off some random internet/Ebay site. Around 50 quid from memory.
It makes a world of difference.
Agree with this post fully. It made all the difference on the fixed bed in our Bailey caravan and for under £50, was money very well spent. We now have a very cosy bed in our van.It makes a world of difference.

I fail to see the logic in spending lots more money on a "named" product.
