I’m taking the camper to the south of France this summer and I’m looking for a quiet campsite, with preferably a beach very nearby and a lack of kids, (we do like kids, we’ve got nine between the two of us). We’ve googled a few but though I’d ask the pistonheaders for some advise on their favourites.

We regularly stayed at was La Ville Ferme in Biot near Antibes. It was lovely.

Over the years, we've used Yelloh campsites. Depends where you'd like to end up.

I've always found them to be very well run, quiet, incredibly clean. Always shocks me on the odd occasion I've camped back in the UK.

My folks have a static van at Camping le dattier, frejus. It's a cracking family run site. Very quiet and not too far from the beach at frejus.

When are you thinking of going ? There is a massive difference between May and June when we go and then July and August. It’s so busy then. We went once and went back inland as it was crazy on the coast

Thanks for the reply’s.
Probably going the first week of September but that can be changed, it’s a shame my Mrs can’t get over to meet up with me after Le Mans, we could have just gone on down from there in June.

Friends of ours have a static on that site too. We've stayed there a few times, great location BUT I wouldn't fancy getting a camper under the arch near the pool!!
