Just about to buy a 2015 VW California, any recommendations on insurance companies. Ta.

JustKampers are supposed to be ok, no personal experience though. Other than that, join a couple of VW forums, there’s always insurers and stuff advertising on them and giving a %-age off for forum members.

Caravanguard do campervans, motorhomes etc and are competitive in my experience.

My T25 is insured through justkampers. They have been very competitive over the years and do good European breakdown cover too. You will also get a 10% discount card for justkampers if you ever shop there? They obviously know the different vehicles, unlike trying some of the more generic insurance companies.

Never needed to claim, so not sure on that side of things.

Safeguard or Comfort (I’m with Safeguard). You need to check very carefully that the habitation stuff is covered (which it is with these). Have a search through the California Club website, loads of threads on insurance.

I've used AIB ever since we've had a motorhome. Very competitive and we have inclusive UK & Euro breakdown with our policy, which is nice

Camping & caravan club insurance.

Insurance for my t5 camper in London with secure parking & 12 yrs no claims around £300. Everyone else I tried were £1000+

A friend with a Toyota camper put me onto them after they saved him a similar amount.
