I want to go camping in a tent, but I don’t like camping.
Discussion
I went camping once in a tent in wales, it rained we got wet inside the tent, clothes got wet.
The toilet block was wet, it was dirty, the toilets were like a nasty motorway services. I could hear the bloke next to me dropping off the kids at the pool. I didn’t enjoy it!
But I did enjoy everything before it went dark!
I used to spend a lot of time on boats, and every marina I have been to had a block of toilets where you put in your code and got you own little bathroom, the sort you would get at a premiere inn attached to your room. Completely soundproof toilet, shower dry changing bit hot and cold water.
Is this a thing in campsites for tents? If so is it a thing in France?
I Know I know I’m a big fairy with stage fright.

Not all sites are the same. There are lots of reviews on www.ukcampsite.co.uk which you can select by area and there is also a section for France.

It all works and the info is excellent, but 1999 called they want their website back. We are staying in a suspended treehouse in a few weeks: https://www.canopyandstars.co.uk/britain/england/c...
It's a bit like camping, but private rather than on a campsite and with better facilities.

I have used the UK campsite website but I used the pitchup app (iphone) in May and it was excellent. Have spoken to a few others that have used it, you book and pay through the app.
Recommended it to a few people who were already using it and they said how good it was (used it when driving through France and Spain to book campsites at short notice.
As for campsites I try to avoid any campsites that allow caravans (Camper vans are ok in my book). Go for smaller sites or more remote as they tend to be cleaner/quieter.
