I was behind a campervan that looked like a thin 70s ice cream van, a single door in the middle of the rear, mildly angled sides which got steeper near the top and a thin flat bit at the top. Registered in 2003 so not ancient. Think the marque was Formahome or something like that but can't find it on a web search.

Any ideas what it was?

Probably one of those Romahome things - generally based on those old Citroen C15 vans, which in turn were based on the Visa

I owned one of the Romahome caravans, brilliant bit of kit, very tiny but like the tardis everything needed inside and reasonable space. Lightweight.

Yeah as above, the Romahome. Usually on a nakered looking C15 but also on other Citroens, Belingos and also Dispatchs.

They go for silly money!

I believe before they were Romahome they were called Island Plastics and made my old demountable camper, the Suntrekker. Almost identical interiors in them.

Interested in the demountable camper but sounds from your post like they’re no longer in business?

I think they are still going in Cowes (local to me). A couple of mates used to work there about 20years ago.
