Last year I bought a used box trailer to jug my bikes and assorted "stuff" around in.

Its an older Tow-A-Van twin axle model and is in very good condition.

Since getting it home and using it a few times, I have noticed that the front wheels are barely in contact with the road when hooked on the back of my Evoque or E Pace.

The detachable tow bar is not height adjustable, that I can see.

Has anyone else had this issue?

The only other option I can see is to lower the A frame by some sore of spacer between the chassis and hitch?

Any suggestions?

A few ideas of possible solutions:
* can you get a shorter detachable swan neck?
* has the trailer suspension dropped? If it has then raising it back up will help solve the issue.
* similar to above, even if the suspension is okay then finding a way to add a little more ride height in the trailer will help. Maybe axle spacer blocks or larger wheels/tyres.

I have fitted a spacer between the 'A'-frame of the trailer and the coupling head. Brian James sold me a fabricated 50mm spacer.

Good points!

I will have to go underneath and check out the suspension units.
