Van to convert?
Discussion
My son (21) is keen on buying a van to do the surfy bit around Europe, the conversion would be cheap and cheerful, I’ve had a couple of T5s through the business but 2nd hand ones seem to have the V(W) added tax, making them expensive, any advice on best value for money as a donor vehicle?
Dependent on budget, a VW T25 can be a good buy at the moment. Could fulfil the surfer vibe and shouldn't lose too much money, unlike a home converted van.
It will be a slower pace of life and should you breakdown (mine hasn't left us stranded yet in 8 years) parts are easy to come b and easy to fix.
We take ours down the west coast of France with our two kids so do cover some distances.....
Just an alternative.....
