Morning campers, hidie hi !

I'm converting a van into a camper and have mounted an 80w solar panel onto the roof. It's temporarly wired to my liesure battery via the controller in the image below. Thething scrolls through several screens and tells me that the battery is at 14/14.2v. This seems a bit high to me, anyone know how to adjust this type of controller, please?

I think most batteries show a higher figure when being charged, you’ll probably find that settles down to 12v when there is no charge going to it. That’s what I see in my van anyway.

14.2v is normal when charging. Anything below 12.6v when resting is considered poor. 12v is very unhealthy.

..which shows that your system is functioning, as the panel will be producing IRO 18v, reduced to 14.2v by the controller in order to charge your 12v battery, happy days.
Just ensure that the other settings are correct... you should be able to select battery type (eg flooded, AGM etc) and other things such as charge start and charge stop voltage parameters... you'll probably find some instructions online, I got mine by finding a similar looking one on Ebay which had a picture of the instructions within the listing!
