Anyone had a recall for their Knaus/Weinsberg motorhome for the risk of the fairings between the van cab and habitation area coming off, potentially 'leading to death or injury'?

I feel I'm getting the runaround from Knaus, the gdealer I bought my van from, and the local Knaus dealer, meanwhile the van is unusable for me, totally messing up planned visits to see Family.

Digging about a bit, they've known of the issue since 2017, but kept producing the models in the same way until 2022!

All experiences welcome!

I've had the recall letter. It's booked into my original dealer, end of September, which is 120 miles away. Only reason it's going back there is their workshop is open on a Saturday morning so I don't have to take any time off work.

It's not stopping me going on a planned trip to Europe this weekend, I'll just have to check these panels to make sure they're not loose. Bit pissed that there is no compensation for having to travel to get this rectified and the repair leaves a plastic 'plug' on the panel that won't match the installed graphics.

Yes, it's very poor how they've handled it.

Just a heads up, I was getting an annoying rattle from the driver's door area, which I blamed on the sliding blinds, turns out this was the fairing tapping against the body.

I've put duct tape on until I can get mine fixed.

Not had anything yet for my '21 built, '22 reg Weinsberg Caracompact 600MEG.
Does anyone know which models, specifically, this affects?
