Was on the point of buying a portable dvd for the little one in the back of the car,now I've got the idea of maybe getting her a laptop for in the back,plus she can play games on it etc...

are laptops a pretty universal power supply that I can get an adapter for ( cig-lighter job )

Also if anyone has a cheap laptop for sale.... :)

Anyone tried a laptop in a motor instead on a portable dvd,is it a good idea or not....

was going to do it but could not find a way of supporting lap top , so got dvd player and twin screens plus that way you don't gat arguments on who can see screen best

Toys-R-Us had a twin screen DVD system for £200 yesterday. Mty lad bought one for the girls to watch in the car. This one remebers where you were when you switch it off. Some restsrt from the beginning when the power is cut off.
