Got this email from Elddis today confirming closure of the Consett manufacturing facility.

We wanted to write to you personally as a valued Elddis owner as we propose our new strategy: Elddis. Unlimited. This strategy reflects our investment in new products, enhanced customer experience and a clear long-term vision for Elddis, best suited to the operating market we are trading in today.
We are preparing an exciting new product portfolio which will be unveiled from August, and we are very much looking forward to showcasing these developments at the NEC Motorhome & Caravan Show later this year. This next chapter reflects our commitment to quality, innovation and delivering vehicles designed around the needs of our customers.
As part of this proposed investment, from Model Year 2027 Elddis products will be produced within Erwin Hymer Group’s high-performance production facilities — EHG Plant Isny, Germany, and EHG Plant Nowa Sól, Poland. These locations bring extensive manufacturing expertise, advanced engineering capability and unmatched quality supporting the continued confidence customers place in Elddis.
Most importantly - nothing changes for you:
Your warranty, terms and conditions and aftersales services remain fully in place
Our trusted dealer network will continue to consult and support you
Our UK-based customer support team is here whenever you need us
Our new Elddis Experience Centre will be our UK HQ ensuring the high level of care and support you expect from Elddis remains central to everything we do.
Elddis. Unlimited will represent ongoing investment in product and service quality — giving confidence that the brand you have chosen is well positioned for the future.
