I'm not sure if this has been posted on a different forum.

Good news, but god knows if it'll ever change anything. We supply ebooks as part of our library service offer but new releases are held back (as in years, not months) and there is still no way of getting them onto a Kindle without resorting to hacking using 3rd party software.

Good device, and for borrowing library ebooks they are a far better choice than the Kindle. But the Kindle has what, 90-95% of the market? If we ever want to satisfy the demand of the general public, we'll be dead in the water without Kindle support.

Maybe it will change after this Christmas.

Nooks are flying out of the door at Sainsbury's.
Kobo also seem to be doing well.

Kindle still a long way ahead admittedly.
