I suspect (hope) I'm not alone in making productive use of my time spent in the smallest room.
Schott's Original Miscellany is one of favourite bog books.
What else may we consider suitable material?

Got to be something which comes in short bursts (if you know what I mean), so that you aren't committed to full chapters.

Forgotten Voices of the Great War fits the bill perfectly for me as my current bog-read.

Hmmm. I should've guessed this would end up here.
It's a light-hearted non-literary topic which doesn't really belong in a 'serious' forum, does it?

2000AD story anthologies. I've got 3x Nemesis The Warlock, 1x Ro-Busters, 2x Strontium Dog, 2x Flesh and the first 10 Judge Dredd Casebooks.

Bloody disgusting habit of reading in the bog - think of all the germs and such that will now contaminate such reading material!

Currently reading 'The Italian book of war heroes' usually read it thrice in one sitting.

To pull it back PHwards, our "toilet" reading rack has Evo mags, the PH Annual (2007 I believe), Goodwood programmes and National Geographic.

As you say, easily pick up and put down able, but with the option of drawing you in for the long term should you need it....
