Children's Books for Adults!?

I have found a genre completely new to me: children's books for adults.

My wife bought me the first one when our eldest was a bambino. Forgot all about till she found it and read all the rude words by spelling them phonetically.

We also had the "Is it me or is everything st" book on our book case. Our eldest bked us for and told us it shouldn't be on the book case because it is a swear word.

In my opinion a lot of children books is really for adults. For exemple Winnie The Pooh
