Freddie Mercury biography?

Hi, my wife has been a fan of his for years, so I thought I would get his biography for her for Christmas.

Problem is, there are a lot out there! Can anyone recommend the best one to go for?

Phoebe's is pretty good (Peter Freestone). Not so sure on the gardeners version but it's a long time since I read it.
