Someone else that remembers "Auto Man"!!!

Thought I was going mad

Also the P4 look-a-like from Hardcastle and McCormick was a reason alone to watch the program!!!!

John Steed used a Bentley in the earlier series of The Avengers and later traded it in for a Rolls Royce.

Emma Peel did more to boost Lotus Elan sales than any advertising campaign.

The Saints Volvo Coupe.

Colombo's knackered Volvo saloon.

Brian Hammond (the accountant in "The Brothers") drove a Hillman Hunter and later an Austin Princess - he had taste
His playboy brother raced Formula Fords.

I think Bergerac's car was a Singer or a Sunbeam. It's on permanent display in a museum in Jersey now.

James Herriot in "All Creatures Great and Small" drove an Austin 7 (until he became a partner).

Frank Cannon drove a Lincoln Continental.

My favourite is, of course, The Prisoner's Lotus 7 Series II. It's one of the reasons (probably) why I own a Caterham today.
