Ok so I came out of work at 2pm today, to find a sheet of paper under the windscreen wiper of my Elise saying:

'Nice Parking (very considerate) Twat'

I was parked over 2 spaces but there were loads of other spaces around and I still don't see it as any reason to call me a Twat!

And someone told me it was someone I know and work with but wouldn't tell me who! I'm so angry! I'm gonna go to work tomorrow, find out who it was and have words!

Am I just totally over reacting or do you think I'm right to be mad?!

you're lucky it was only a note in the window and not a scratch or 3 in the body work...

If it is someone you are working with, find out what their problem is.

I would suggest there is an underlying problem and the message left on your windscreen is just the symptom of that problem.

Secondly, what will be next? scratches down the paintwork if there is a grudge there.

Otherwise, learn to park properly.

I went into town toaday and saw a new Range Rover parked across 2 spaces

I though to myself " twat"

It's a shame that some people care so little for others property that it could ever be necessary but OTOH inconsideration or blind stupidity/ignorance isn't a new thing either

I suspect that had you parked a rusty old Volvo over two spaces it wouldn't have been a problem. Maybe one of your colleagues thinks you get paid too much?

He is probably just jealous and upset cause he has the mentality that people who drive sport cars think they can do whatever they want. So he just got himself pissed off and was the one over reacting.

Have a closer look; maybe the message is signed with Twat?

prehaps you just should have parked better?

I saw my tennent park across 2 spaces in a tesco carpark and despite the fact that i like him i did have to point out that he was infact an inconsiderate twat, he then pointed out he didnt care!

Fair enough!

I've heard that people who do this kind of thing tend to attract lots of unwanted attention . This would confirm it - oh and try parking properly too.

So he is either Mr. Twat or just has a bad grasp of how to form correct sentences.

Have to say theres a guy I work with who insists on parking across 2 spaces to prevent people knocking his car. It's a bit annoying (twat)! It's a risk of car ownership that there are clumsy and incosiderate drivers about who do touch other cars when opening doors. Perhaps the note was overreacting a bit though!

My car is twice the size of yours - if I parked it over 2 spaces I would expect that at the worse! My car isn't as sporty as yours but sportiness does not give you the right to park on 2 spaces. I therefore summarise that your correspondent was correct!

Just had another look at the paper and it does actually look like he's signed it 'Twat'!

The fact that he's pointed out that I was over 2 spaces hasnt't bothered me, (although I do think he/she need's to get a life) it's the way they have called me aswell. Do they honestly think they are going to have earnt one tiny bit of respect from me now, going on like that!? Treat people how you want to be treated I always say, and that's not the right way to go about things!

Yes very good way of thinking ,,,, but if some Twat had parked over 2 spaces , how would you feel.

An amazing phenomenon is that of parking ones car in a completely deserted part of a car park coming back to the car to find the rest of the car park empty and your car completely surrounded what is that all about.
