The other point of view is that if the majority of Islander's (excluding rich incomers there for the tax perks) want a speed limit, then fair enough its a democracy after all.
But personaly I'd rather it stayed unlimited and remained one of the last places on earth were you can ride or drive properley.

Voted against the limit.
The Isle of Man is a beautiful place with genuinely warm and friendly people, most of whom are Petrol heads of the highest order.
Imposing a speed limit would do permanent damage to their tourism trade, not to mention all those that had moved over there for the very reason of not having a speed limit in force. They are a small community which relies heavily on the resources generated by the motoing events held each year. Many ordinary houses are also used as accomodation for visitors during the TT.
You can also say goodbye forever to the TT races and every other historical race and car rallye that the island has been so famous for in the past.
This is the last bastion and stand point against the government as a stand point against speeding and it is a worthy cause that needs our support.
