Just on the off chance there are people on here that like watching exotic cars being driven flat out there is a programme on this years Gumball on this Sunday at 8.30 on the Extreme Sports channel.

The trailer has footage of the yellow Enzo giving it some so the rest of the programme should be good.

What! forget the thought of a Yellow Enzo razzing it.
Autoview for Sunday now programmed into me head.

Watched this last night.. ok, but nothing different over the other gumball tv progs i've seen of the earlier events. Not much car coverage unfortunately.

Anyone know if this was a one off, or is it the first in a series? (as then only covered the first leg?)

?

I missed it unfortunatly but it seems to be on again at 8:30 this Saturday so perhaps it's a series? If so anyone know where I can watch the first one?

Its a series:

www.extreme.com/tvevent_sub1.asp?SID=8

Fast, furious and the wackiest race in the world - this year Gumball 3000 comes to Europe with a world premiere series on Extreme Sports Channel. The six-day, high-glamour endurance rally travels 3000 miles from Paris to the Sahara and back; via a host of stunning locations and parties ending up at a rapturous finish at the Cannes Film Festival.

Driven by the well-heeled and the just plain reckless, drivers as various as Adrien Brody, Jodie Kidd, Tony Hawk and Bucky Lasek take up the chase across France, Spain and North Africa at speeds of up to 190mph. But in this show everyone's a star, from the cunning London cabbie to the eccentric billionaire who thinks he's a robot, from the Ferraris and Maseratis to the 2CV, from the doctors working on crashed crusaders to the cops who become ever more involved as speeding tickets, roadblocks - and even jail - become par for the Gumball course.

Don't miss the carnage, chaos and anarchy in this incredible trans-continental chase, described by NBC as "the most glamorous and notorious rally ever staged"

Sundays at 8.30 pm from the 11th July 2004

Missed the first one last night though .....
