I drove on a nail the other day, but didn't find out before I got home: it took half an hour for the tyre to deflate.
Now that it has been repaired, is it reasonable to drive as if it had not been punctured?

I thought that there were some ratings, the fast ones, that are not allowed to be repaired?

I think any tyre can be repaired as long as the puncture is not near the edges of the tyre

IIRC 'Z' rated tyres are only allowed to have one repair.

Thanks all for your replies
The tyre should be ok since the hole was located right in the center of the rolling band

I had the same thing on a Z rated tyre - repaired, it ran fine at 150mph on the AutoStradas.

Tyres are allowed to have TWO punctures repaired before they are deamed unsafe, after that they're binned.

I think all of my tyres have had at least one puncture repair... as long as it's in the "safe" zone (main tread of the tyre and not the shoulder) you'll be fine.
