According to this bloke from the guardian his ten worst cover songs are:-

Call it hubris or a lack of imagination: some bands feel compelled to cover other artists' songs. Regrettably, the results are, more often than not, appalling. Here are the worst reworkings in living memory

1. Duran Duran '911 Is A Joke'

2. Ronan Keating 'Fairytale Of New York'

3. Frank Sinatra 'Something'

4. UB40 &Amp; Robert Palmer 'I'll Be Your Baby Tonight'

5. David Bowie 'God Only Knows'

6. M People 'Itchycoo Park'

7. Johnny Cash 'Danny Boy'

8. Atomic Kitten 'The Tide Is High'

9. Candy Flip 'Strawberry Fields Forever'

10. Kevin Rowland 'The Greatest Love Of All'

What are the worst cover songs you can think of?

Heard Britney singing "My Perogotive" this morning on the radio and that was pretty bad!

Worst has to be Rolf Harris's version of Stairway To Heaven.

Dunno about worst, but I'd say one of the best covers I know is "You Are Always On My Mind" by The Pet Shop Boys!

Cleopatras version of The Jackson Fives "I want you back" was simply hideous.

Wonderwall by Mike Flowers pops, woeful.

I am proud to report I assisted in booing the fat, talentless gimp off stage when he had the temerity to play at our uni ball

That's right without this and William Shatner the article is pointless
