Nipped in to see them setting up today and grabbed a few pics.

Chopped Roller! Doesn't look too bad at all in the flesh!

Weissman Roadster. Very nice, lovely and curvy and I suspect it sounds good too. Couldn't find out if they've got any UK tie ups yet.

Enzo tow car

The TVR powerboat! These boats aren't going to be 'TVR' boats really. It's just a cross-promotional agreement to show Bladerunner boats (this one in TVR purple) at car shows and TVR cars at boat shows. Quite effective I suspect. Associating TVRs with £150,000 boats capable of 80+mph (so I'm told) can't be a bad thing.

Good pics Ted.

That Roller really is the ultimate in bling.....those wheels look like chrome spinners.

Now that I like, like to see the dials edged with chrome though.

I didn't like the RR/Bentley thing. Did they have the picture board up behind it? The B pillars are from a cheap Renault ffs! It's just a Bentley with parts bin add ons... shame

The actual show wasn't bad, bit too much "lets see a donut by a Caterham or TVR" but the chicks they used as part of the show were gorgeous!!!!

Oh well, back off to Soho now to meet up with the PHers i went with for some more

For those who are going tomorrow or over the weekend... the champagne they give out is supposed to be one per customer... but we all just dumped out glasses and went back. I'm a bit now...

Cheers, Rico

That Roller/Bentley is just grotesque. Give me a proper British one any day of the week.

Surely you mean chopped Range Rover?
It seems to have a bit of everything in it.

I must confess that years ago I had a mad plan to acquire an old Roller and take many inches out of the roof. I thought it would be very cool Then paint it bright yellow

That looks like the results of BMW mating a Bently and a Range Rover before flogging it off the Ford. 'Spose it would sell well to drug dealers and footballers!

The Bentley/Roller thingy was built by a guy called Andy Saunders who has done loads of other mad custom stuff in the past. You might not like the style and that's your choice, but there is a lot of workmanship in there, most of it more subtle than the obvious chop and range rover lights – it's all done in steel, no filler in sight!

Paint it black and I might have it...

Roland Rivron and Jools holland used to have a TV series where they drove round in a gold chopped roller.
Now that was very cool. Mainly because it was a bit knackered!

Edited:A quick google shows the eighties program as being called "The Groovie Fellas". No pics though.
