I have one.... Lovely, but the centre button feels a bit flimsy. You have to upgrade the software to V1.1 which improves it.

Sound is nice, has a digital output and one thing I like is the ability to set it to wake up at different times in the week and at weekends.

You might find the display a little bright, depoends on how light sensitive you are.

agree that the only downside is the centre button which in the scale of things isnt much of an issue. I love the way you can see what the next song on the radio is going to be so you can plan ahead....

I'm sure it's great, but the website is awful.
I wouldn't mind finding out what it can do and a list of the technical specifications, but it doesn't seem possible.

Oh, one other nice thing you can do is record to your phones memory card!

From the support link you end up here :-

Isn't there an option to dim it at all?

Yes there is, I bought "Er In Doors" a Grey one as she thought the white ones looked cheap. The function to dim it still leaves it quite bright tho.

Cheers. The PDF manual was as bad as the web site in many ways though, but that link told me what i wanted.
I'll have to admit that the current trend of anthropomorphising products gets my back up.

Clever stuff - a software upgrade which fixes a flimsy button!!

I have just bought an Evoke Tempus for Mrs Macg as she wants a new alarm clock for Chrimbo.

Funny this should come up... I've spent most of my lunchtime looking at reviews for a sub £100 DAB radio for a xmas present. All a bit confusing to be honest and I don't really just want to buy one that looks nice!

The Pure Evoke seems like a good one, as does the Intempo PG-01, but they don't have many presets. Currys also have a Hitachi one (KH-35D), but I cannot find any reviews.

yey - Mrs TvrForever got me a Granite Bug for Christmas...

And I've just upgraded it to v1.2 of the software (released 4 days ago) and it's great! Very impressed...

Oooh - must upgrade my software then!

And I found this out last night, for those of you (me included) who find the dimmest display setting too bright at night:

Turn the display illumination off at night. You'll find then that if you prod any button bar the "on" button, it'll illuminate for about 30 seconds or so. Just enough time to clock the current time, roll over, fart and commence snoring once more.

And separate weekday/weekend alarms. Bloody genius. Well it would be, were it not a bleedingly obvious good idea.
