how amusing is it that the TVR Tuscan and T350 reside amongst Hummer H2?

That's going to please so many owners

Still can't believe they chose Westwood mind

id be happy to buy any of those vehicles and have them wrecked by the PMR UK team, just for the oppurtunity of running over Tim Westwood afterwards.

because thats where the bodyshop is?

I often wondered about the American version if kids were specifically buying cars and breaking them so that they could be pimped - some of the stuff in those cars is worth a fortune, although the cars themselves won't be worth much IMO.

I actually seriously have nightmares about someone "pimping" my "ride".

Tim Big Dog Westwood - "So, yeah man, wicked. We took your old boring sports car bro, and pimped it right out. Those lightweight wheels just ain't happening, so we blinged you with a set of 19" chrome spinners."

Me - "......."

Dog - "and then we fitted trick suspension so you can hip and hop your way down to the club. My brother. And for the tunes, we decided bigger was better, so you got a 50kg 32" Sony Widescreen teev, and 20 amplifiers powering 6 Subs in the back"

Me - "but it now handles like an utter pile of shit"

Dog - "yo, but it *pimpin'* boy."

Doing up what we australians call "shitboxes" is what makes the U.S. show. Making a new sports car look bling isn't really very interesting....

I've seen the US version with Xzibit a couple of times now, and it's actually quite amusing, easy going TV. Not sure if the UK version will be as watcheable though….

Not so bling but www.mgv8.co.uk is some thing with a bit more class (apart from the TVRs).

Xzibit is a real character. Westwood is just a real cock. It'll be absolute cack IMO.

Having seen PMR Series 3 episode 2 in the US... how do MTVUK intend to follow up, "putting a hot tub in the back of the car"

Just imagine how many people will be in shock when they see him for the 1st time after listening on the radio and realise he isn't black, rofl

Personally, the most I hear of him is "It's Saturday, it's Saturday, it's Westwood" and then the radio goes off :P

I caught the last few mins of a PMR episode a few weeks back and I'm sure I saw them put a Pool table in the back of some girls pickup. Wonder how long before this is on the TVR options list?

Obviously this show has a target audience in mind, but I think it's gonna be good, light entertainment. The american show doesn't really take itself that seriously (lava-lamps in the car, etc) but still manages to create vehicles that will get talked about.

Personally I don't like Tim Westwood very much; he's just always seems to be trying too hard to build up his image and reputation. Think the show would have been better with a more mainstream host, someone along the lines of Nick Knowles or - even better - his ex-squeeze, Suzi Perry.

I also hope the producers manage to pick people who deserve to have their car played with, not just people who wanna look great in Maccy D's car-park. The american show does try and 'treat' people from a wide spectrum of population and background, so I hope ours follows suit.

It's like any TV show though; if it's not your cup of tea, simply don't watch it...don't bitch about it!
