Ok, here's the brief:

You've got to haul yourself and at least 2 other people [possibly including sprog(s)] and a modicum of luggage, in a car, down through France, for a quick Riviera weekend.

You need to maintain at least low hundreds with the ability to hit the mid-high hundreds (or beyond!) where conditions allow.

My selection would be thus:

1.Ferrari 456GT (manual)
2.Aston Martin V600
3.Bentley (er...) Continental T
4.Lamborghini Espada S3
5.Porsche 928GTS (auto'd be fine on this 'un)

What would you good folks choose?

(No Cerbera because hamsters don't count...)

1. AM Vantage (the proper one, none of this DB7 Jag business)
2. Jensen Interceptor SIII
3. Bentley Continental R
4. Lister XJS Le Mans
5. Overfinch Anniversary Range Rover.

The all weather RS6 saloon is the daddy for sheer competance. If badge snobbery is more important however, I'd go for a prehistoric vantage.

I'll take the Lambo Espada, thank-you. Though I might go for an S2 because I'm not sure about the grille and bumpers on the S3.

Anyone got any experience of these BTW? I'm toying with the idea of getting one in the future, but it's difficult to find anyone with personal experience of the beasts. Time to join yet another owners club I guess....
