Wake the next morning without a (das Deutsche bier ist sehr gutt!) and by 11 we're in Lowenbrau having our first followed by and a LOT more :dancinonthetablesandgenerallylarkinabout: before :sleep

Then on Saturday its into Brausau (sp?) by 12 (ooooh we were feelin by now) and then a loooooong session of before :dancinonthetablesandfallinoveralot: before

Congrats to the Germans for an excellent Bierfest - cant see something like that hapen in the UK somehow. No real visible police presence, each tent with >7000 people all havin a fine time gettin drunk and enjoying the atmosphere, no trouble that we heard of. Something 6 million visitors in just under 3 weeks and close to 10million litres of beer consumed - now thats what I call a party!!

I'll be goin again, thats fer sure!

Brausau means brewpig
I'm sure, you meant Brauhaus ("Brewhouse", not 'brewery' ) , but that's an indication for a successful participation in - you've had disport then?

Next time, you pass Frankfurt, I'll show you Apfelwein 'applewine' (not: cider ) (not: )

Very good idea! I've posted in the PHers in Germany thread for a general continental meet, but we could a an or five in between

John, I've heard, that non-Frankfurters have had difficulties with their stomach and the yellow stuff - once you're used to it (one Bembel every evening for two weeks), it shall be no problem!
