Ted, can I suggest an award for Outstanding Achievement, something like a PistonHeads Fellowship.

I would like to nominate McNab to be the first recipient.

Cheers,
JSG

Interesting philosophical question.
Speaking as one with existentialist tendencies I would be inclined to accept the concept of "Thirdism".
Wish Carzee was here to give the definitive view though!

Good idea. I was looking for a title/category for something very much like that but couldn't clarify it. Spot on.

Any other nominations?

Never really "conversed" with Dave, but have found his posts interesting and informative.

Perhaps we could donate to a suitable charity? - or auction something off...? etc etc.

Perhaps 'seconded (yet) again' would be a better term, whatever the term I agree.

Dave_H has been remembered, wait and see.

There will also be a charity raffle with prizes going to Cancer Research which was also the charity of choice of his family.

Over £900. JonRB won the first prize of Superlight R session, MadCop session and Scalextric. 6 more prizes, can't remember all the winners. Steve_T won the CD's, DavidP won a huge amount of alcohol, Bobtheplanner won some stuff, and the rest is a bit of a blur!

I have a card saying second prize ! A madcop session, small model and a Carzee letter. I don't know if you were in a blur when you wrote the cards but is Tea@PistonHeads.com the right email ?

Thanks to everybody who bought tickets and congratulations on raising the £900 for charity.

And no-one was more surprised than me, I can tell you. I never win anything, least of all 1st prize!

The Scalextric has already been well played with by myself and my 'almost 8' step son, and as soon as I get some converter track to allow me to use my old Scalextric track with this new-fangled advanced stuff then I'll get it down from the loft and we'll have the mother of all tracks.
