When/where can/shall we meet? I'm just short of Basel, you guys in FFM?
Perhaps at BT&P??? If not where and at which Restaurant/Pub/RugbyClub/Track?

I'm in Frankfurt during the week and Aachen at the weekends.

There's a track day at Spa in a few weeks time. Might make a good meeting place as it is 3 hours from Frankfurt and 5 hours from Basle (or less assuming good driving conditions).

I seem to remember the Ring being in between those two.

And half an hour from Aachen...

BTW, for those of you who will enjoy a day at Spa-Francorchamps and take the whole week off: Make sure you join in to give maximum support to Martin Short in his effort in the Belgium Masters at Zolder at the weekend ahead (it's on your way to Calais / 26th-27th October).

I live just of out Frankfurt but travel a lot with work so I never know where I will be. I am happy to meet wherever in Germany, just need a week or twos notice.

Nuerburgring has some appeal though!

I'd love a PH meet in Germany; how about Wurst at the Ring?

We could meet for driving Nordschleife (bit dull in my Landrover, though) or for an event (Oldtimer races are quite jovially) or just go to a Gasthaus.

The Ring is a long way up north for you, John; maybe you know a good occasion to meet somewhere between Basel and Nürburgring?

There are other PHers living in Germany IIRC; Christof and apsona; maybe them and BE-NE-LUX PHers would like to join a meet, too?

Im gonna be in Germany early next year (to live permenently, hopefully!)

Any of you lot in the IT industry? - i'd be damn suprised if there isn't! - whats the climate (job wise) at the moment??

Should be getting out there mid feb time, and i would certainly be up for a meet after ive settled in!

Well, not exactly IT, but product development by computer aided design (last job I did was "CAD applications developer and project data mngmt." in Kronberg, near Bad Homburg.
Follow PH for local meets , or just drop me a line, if you wish to have some of the yellow stuff in Frankfurt

every few weeks I'm en route between Dover and Osnabrück, or swanning around some part of Germany. I have promised jmgs4 a visit, but haven't been down his neck of the woods yet (honest!!!).

I'd love to meet up, but would be unlikely to be able to make it. Frankfurt area seems to me to be the best.

I have no problems with coming up north to FFM but Spa is out as I've got (long) business travel coming up in Weeks 43, 45 (BT&P what else?) and week47+8. Perhaps we should try to get something organised about 3 months hence...............?
