Spectre Cars

These guys used to make a mid-engined sportscar - not heard of them recently, but looked up the web site and it looks like they have something planned:

"Spectre Cars Ltd is currently developing a new Super Sports car"

Anybody know anything about this?

I like the new offerings from people like VEMAC etc but if i change the esprit at some point i'd prefer to go for something with a v8...

My mistake, not based on the Ultima. I was thinking of the Stealth. Similar name, similar low volume mid engined ex kit car!

The Spectre was based on the GTD GT40 kit car chassis, IIRC.

They re-clothed it and called it the R42 or something.

I'd get an Ultima myself.

I spotted them testing last year. They're doing nothing in terms of publicity but they were obviously still on the case 12 months back.
