My apologies to VectraMan
Discussion
I would like to firstly apologise for any bad comments I may have made in the past with regards Vectra Drivers and their pre-marital birth.
And secondly you have everyones apologies for the blandness of the old car and the anonymity of the current one. (Well how many have you seen, I've only seen 3).
But mainly I would like to apologise for putting Vectra Drivers in the catagory of worst drivers in the world on the motorway. Why, because there's a new kid in town and this kid drives a VW Golf.
Are these the new wave of company car owning freaks or has Vectra Man just upgraded to the Bavarian mini-panzerwagon?
Now I'm not a roadhog, I get from A-B sufficently (Milton Keynes to Manchester in 2hrs 5 mins isn't bad) but I couldn't believe the number of Golfs I saw tailgating (me & others) not indicating ever!, doing the thing I hate most of all cutting in at the very last second the leave the motorway forcing others to brake hard. I couldn't believe I didn't witness an accident.
Anyway beware - Vectra Man is dead, Golf Man is now about and he's blind.

Yup, spot on.
I know this has been discussed before, but company car tax rules have made diesels the weapon of choice for every company anus in the country. The VW diesel is a pretty good example of the genre with power up to 150HP, same as a petrol GTi, hence the belief that they do actually drive a sports car.
