I guess they found the costumes and puppets then, they were stolen from the boot of Jefferies car at Membury services a few months back.

Strangely the theft was never reported to the police, and the costumes were apparently returned anonymously a few days later...and all this happened just days before Geoffrey's show was due to start at the Edinburgh Festival, thus earning it loads of free publicity. Amazing!
