Yup - got one and it is very, very good.

Of course, depends what you want to do with it.

Feel free to email me offline and I'll tell you more.

I know you said it must be a nokia but how about a samsung t100, someone had one in the pub the other week, top phone

my prob with 7650, is the camera (which is crap, no flash see) and I believe you need to fork out 20 quid a month to send photos, oh and the chances of someone else having a camera phone are unlikely. Don't just get it for the camera toy, I also don't like the slidey bit of it.

Although I only have a ericsson t29 so I can't really talk (well I can but only on a crap phone ).

Edited because I just read that jeremyc has got one, you can send photos to each other

i know exactly what you mean, the thing looks nice, but died everytime you wanted to use it as it had a very sh1te battery, the "heavy duty" battery was just as useless.

sticking with nokia's it the best thing, IMHO,

I've got one too and it kicks arse. Best organiser of any phone I've ever had, syncs to outlook lovely, has ir and bluetooth. Plus I can play doom on it, the same version as I used to run on my 486PC back at uni... Scary how hi tech moves on...

Camera is ok, but not worth it alone, buy it if you're in need of the PDA functionality.

Mail me offline for more details if you want.

I have an Ericsson T68, and really like it. The 68i should be pretty cheap these days......

As for this camera phone milarky, I have a £40 SiPiX blink. It's smaller than my phone and will take 100 640x480 pictures.

I don't like the look of it, sorry. The camera on it is rubbish - pure gimmickry. Otherwise, it has the functions you would expect on another top end Nokia.

It's big, and won't fit in a hands free car kit. I don't like the keypad - too small.

I saw a prototype months and months ago and was really disappointed when Mr Nokia said this was pretty much the final model. Sadly he was right.

Get a 6310i - much better phone all round, and tri band. Or 6510 if a dual band is all you need.

I upgraded from the 6210 to the 6310i - MUCH better phone.. doesn't turn itself off like the 6210 did and no problems so far.

Blue-ish display is quite good... a lot clearer, battery life is better.. it's tri-band and the bluetooth is pretty good too.

I bought one sim free and took it back after a week and went back to my T68. I found it a bit limiting for what I needed and the biggest problem was the memory size. Only 4Mb, so you cannot download many games, apps etc. I will wait for the new SonyEricsson P800. Never have liked Nokia phones for some reason but most stores will let you exchange within 14 days. I have used the Carphone Warehouse and have had no problems with them in regards to exchanging.

Also the battery life is shocking! I had to charge it up in the afternoon after using it since 9:00am.

I too upgraded from a 6210 to a series of 6310s, followed by a couple of 6310is. Why so many? Because they've all been SO unreliable – dropping off network, needing new batteries etc etc. Stick with the 6210, mate. Wish I hadn't flogged mine. Then again, I'd still be using the old Nokia banana-shaped thing if it had a decent battery.

NOKIA 7650

ABSOLUTE CRAP!

Tried it on T-mobile and orange both CRAP

The picture quality is quite good but you cant get a bloody signal, unless you turn the bloody thing off and back on again whenever you want to make a call

Marcos. You must have a duffer, mine runs fine on Orange. Had it about 2 months and not a single crash (and it gets plenty of use - only complaint is that 4Mb aint enough!)

I've just bought a Siemens C45.
£80 on Orange pay-as-you-go
Great little phone, Text messaging is a bit fiddly, but I hate texting anyway (Especially hate predicted text!!!)
Siemens car kit is £49 (same as nokia one) but the sound quality is far better because it has a seperate microphone.
In addition I bought a little Corbeau Magna magnetic phone holder About the size of a £2 piece, which holds the phone really well.

I was going to buy a Nokia 3330, but they're just boring (everyone seems to have one)

Wait til spring and Get the Nokia 3650, much smaller than the 7650, it'll be 130x57x26mm, no dropdown cover, 176x208 pixels, 4Mb internal memory plus external MMC memory card, built in camera 640x480 images and video played back via Real Media viewers. Also WAP2.0 XHTML, IR, Bluetooth, PC sync blah blah blah..I currently have T68, which is quite diff with the colour screen but its a bit slow at times through the menus...

To be honest, I wanted one of these then saw it in the flesh and it is far too large. The SonyEricsson P800 is out this month and its got more features, larger screen and smaller in size too.

Sounds like you've been unlucky! Which network are you on?

I've not had a problem with my 6310i in 4 months of use and abuse...
