Thanks - roll on Euro 2004 - I reckon we have a damn good chance - especially if we play with heart like that every time...

Well, I'm English and normally proud of it. But they were so crap tonight I turned over to BBC Wales on Sky on watched the whole second half. Wales were fantastic. They battled against some of the best players in the world and gave everything for their country. I cheered when Bellamy scored!!

Well done Wales. What a shame those overpaid w*nkers (except Beckham who was brilliant) don't have the same passion and heart for their country as the Welsh did tonight.

Superb game! Played against the Italian team and the ref and still won!
We've now got a team to be proud of and one that other teams will fear. Genuine pace!

For those of us that now live in England BBC2 Wales on Sky Channel 961 is excellent! There's also live Heineken Cup rugby every Friday and Scrum V on Sundays!

Cheers.... Andrew

Neil, did you go? Do you live in Cardiff?
I nearly went but decided against it in the end! Wish I had gone now!

I didn't go, but my boss did - so I just put the tv on, and then hung out of my window to get the real crowd noise - even though my flat is half a mile away, we can still see it perfectly and hear it perfectly...

A bit of both I reckon!
His work rate is incredible. He runs round like a headless chicken but it's what we need as it harries them into making mistakes! And he always manages to get back behind the ball to defend even if it means running the length of the pitch.
Amazing to think that's he's never been sent off!

Definatly a nutter. I really wouldn't want him bugging me on pitch. Hard Bastard too (as is ol John)- anyone remember him having his thumb put back into joint against Argintina?

Ah well, it was only the Italians.

Better watch out when you meet the tough teams - like the Faroes.

I assume you mean at international level?
He has been sent off at club level before (I was there at the time - I am a Leicester City fan).

He is an excellent player, and was a great asset to Leicester. Shame we had to sell him to the Brummies.
