A better view of the road.
Discussion
It's quite shocking, seeing the number of young fammilies buying these huge 4x4's to ferry one or two kids to school, as you all know. I found myself alongside a Nissan X-Trail at an island this morning.
I couldn't see a damn thing coming round the island I was joining!!!!
and to make matters worse! she happened to be in the right hand lane, but decided to take the first exit on the left, right across in front of me.
So, If mums buy these kind of (F
g S
) cars to swan around in so they have a better view of the road, but nobody else can see a thing past them,
then why don't one of the car companies develop a new veichle. I'm going to name it the 'low profile high level road observer'
What I propose is: A normal size car, but instead of a windscreen, it has a 2 metre high periscope allowing the mums to see the road beter.
In addition to this, the viewer end of the periscope will need to be strapped to the face, so that the mum cannot be distracted from the road by 'little Tarquin'!!!!
The next part of the design will feature a compact soundproofed rubber clad room where the back seats should be for the kids, and it will also consist of straight jackets attached to the walls.
A warning signal will prevent the car starting until the kids are strapped in properly.
Then the whole package should be finished off with a police escort and a qualified driving instructor.
