I've an old Spitfire that on the whole is pristine but needs some real work on the hood. It's faded and looks pretty damn sorry for itself, anyone know what to do?

Get Renovo stuff. Not cheap but it works well. Then waterproof it using Thompson's Waterseal.

They do every type of soft top renovator you can imagine.

Have a look at their site:

Nobin,

Don't listen to them !!!

Renovo is an excellent product but will cost you as much as a new hood !!

TVR hood £700
Spitfire hood £50

Easy to fit too, just make sure you keep the hood tight as you glue the front edge

If you need more info, mail me offline

Good point!

I checked out the renovo site, I remember them from the past, they had a great review in one of the papers.

Anyway, cheers for the help
