I have been looking at www.mobile.de at the prices of Porsche 964s and 968s in Germany and there seem to be some, on the face of it, good cars at fantastic prices. So has anyone bought out there or from the site. I am a complete novice at such things and looking for advice. Some of the E36 M3s look fantastic as well...

Any experiences or advice would be very welcome... My wife's going to kill me!!

Cheers!

Hmm... But could you put up with left hand drive?

Might be a good idea to check the UK prices first to see what's about. The porsche guys could probably offer some advice on what to look for (best models, known faults etc.)
Do they come with any history? (my German is...err... a bit rusty)

Cheers guys

I could certainly live with LHD, the main issues surrond the mechanics of buying abroad. E.g. are there companies that do it for you, do the cars need SVA and what is required etc. It may well be that by the time any car gets back to the UK and is road legal it will have cost as much as it would have doen over here... More to think about I suspect!

had a left hooker e30 m3 a few years ago which was german import , try looking for a guy called Adrian Crawford in top marques , he buys pokers in german and then imports them so he would probaly import it for you .

Left hand Drive , piece of piss really , adapt within minutes but then again i am a great driver
