Slow Today?????

Is it me or is the site running very slow today?

Pages seem to take a long time to come up.

No. It's not just you. The site is running like a donkey. It's taking over 30 seconds for the pages to come up.... But I guess Ted is too busy getting us those exclusive TVR T350C snaps....

It's cos teds hosting the whole site from his laptop in the NEC cafe.... Oh and the fact we are all sitting online waiting for him to post the T350C pics

The slowness of the server is almost certainly our fault checking the site every 15 seconds for piccies of the T350C !

PH is getting too slow to use now.. 30-40 seconds per asp page request is making this unusable...

Sorry guys - the site is just hellishly busy today. If I promise not to publish any more pictures of the Comma girls then it should speed up.

The new Invicta looks good, but one chap I know said he would only pay £35K for it! The Farboud GT looks a bit sorry on LloydsTSB finance stuff. Ginetta (Phaff) have a new G20 (not worth waiting for, Phil); the new one is signed by Win Percy! (I would rather have the Harrier LR9 driven by Win in 1996). Sorry to say no DARE! Bond cars are great.

Car of the show! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The owner Pierre Picton lives in Stratford and told me the whole history of the original car he has owned fo over 35 years. Just spotted the greatest journo of all time; Chris Goffey!

Ted is now looking over my shoulder so better keep it clean.
