MG ZS Hire car.

Ive been left a bright yellow MG ZS for a trip tomorrow. First impressions, what a tacky plastic interior, seats are horrible and why are they still using those old indicator stalks, my F reg honda used to have those. Come on Rover it cant cost that much to update them. Sure hope it goes a bit better than my general voiew so far.

to be honest, I think it's only the "for god's sake don't knock the British company or it might not survive" sentiment that's made everyone so upbeat about Rovers/MGs.

I was thinking about this the other day whilst in one. IMO, the truth is that for the most part they are utter shit compared to practically anything else on the market. Their pricepoints and engines are perhaps their only redeeming features.

In my opinion all the MG range look tacky. I cant put my finger on it quite. They just dont appeal to me at all. I know people out there have them and are very pleased. I personally expected a bit more from what I have been reading in threads on PH. but am sad to admit my dissapointment. It hasnt even got a CD player. I had a deisel Golf the other day that had one and 6 speakers.
