Russell Bulgin - Selected Articles Book
Discussion
A sadly premature death (at 44) through lymphatic cancer robbed us of one of the greatest Motoring-Journo-Petrolheads to have graced the planet.
His book, though not widely "on show", is available from the EVO stand at the Motorshow for £15 - all proceeds go to Royal Marsden.
Is is one of the best collections I have ever had the pleasure to read and one of the saddest in the final chapter.
I can't recommend it enough for anyone who recognises the attention to detail, poignancy and pith of his scribblings.

For those not visiting Birmingham, the book can also be purchased via the post for a total cost of £19.95. For mail order, the credit card hotline number is: 01892 838928.
I ordered mine from here and got it yesterday. A truly superb collection of articles and with all profits going to the hospital that looked after him, a worthwhile purchase if ever there was one.
Up to the bit where he gets Senna into the welsh forests for some rallying!!
Some rather poignant bits at the back where they inlcude some of his last emails. Makes you think for sure.
Oddly enough, there isn't a single mention of Evo in there but articles from every other mag he has worked for.

CarZee said: I ordered mine on the 16th October and I'm still waiting.. other people have had their mail-order copies already..
Is anyone else still waiting or should I prepare for battle and make a call ..?
I ordered my copy on the 21st October: nothing yet. Mind you, it does have to cross the Channel to Holland.
MDG.
I got mine at the show.
I took a while to start reading it but it gets better and better.
Was a bit naughty and sneeked a look at the emails at the end last night...:slapwrists:
The article on Senna and the rally cars was fanstic. If Phill Deene had taken the same attitude, he would have done very very well!
Great read, great guy,
Chase that book CarZee!
