Portfolio Insurance 100% increase

Having had Portfolio insurance for that past year and having been very very happy, I have had my quote for this year (made no claims and nothing else has changed) and basically its gone from £931 to £1881 100 fcking percent increase aghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now it is via a company called Robinson Scott in Ireland and my question is who else does this type of insurance, any help would be greatfully recieved as my policy runs out on the 29th !!!!!!!!!!!
Policy is 2/3 cars, building ins,contents ins and travel ins.

This is very bad news. I was considering Portfolio, but its suddenly looking less attractive.

As far as I am aware, Portfolio is unique although it is offered by two different brokers.

I don't suppose you know who actually underwrites it, do you?
