This has been bugging me for a while.. (I know.. get a life )

Mrs Zee & I have various friends who sometimes come to our house and stay over etc..

They try to be helpful and considerate guests, so when we've cooked for them, they've been known to wash up...

Why? We have a dishwasher fer cryinoutloud....

If you want to help, vaccuum the damned carpet or iron me some shirts..

Just wanted to get that out of my system

Making your mum and dad wash up is a bit over the top methinks

No, when they offer, just invite them to 'step this way' into your modernist, linear minimalist kitchen (or whatever) and demonstrate to them the water circulation capabilities of the latest dishwasher and then retreat to the living room etc for a few drinks, chit chat and wife-swapping or whatever!

You're lucky. All our friends just sup our booze, then fck off. One supposed friend even 'borrowed' some cutlery once. I kid you not.

Dishwashers are part of God's plan for humanity. I'm convinced of it. Nothing so good can have come into being without divine inspiration.

Dishwashers. Proof of the existence..etc

's okay Greg - I specifically bought a house where the garden goes all the way to the edge of the road so there'll be no commoners walking adjacent to the carZee Residence

(or the bigassed spiders in the fir trees will have them.. )

Paper plates are more fiddly to wash up IMHO.
They tend to disintegrate, and take ages to dry.
