Quite the best article I have seen on Driven for sometime! I liked the back been thrown out round Le Mans. The Maxi seems to have got further than expected and probably further than a several Pistonhead readers' cars!

Not your car though Ted!

Intriguing end to the programme, though...they included a trailer for "next week's programme", but then the continuity bod said that the programme wouldn't be on next week after all, although there would be some Drivel specials in December. Odd, I thought, to pull a programme they've already filmed. You don't suppose they're having a rethink, do you ????

I hope so, because the show in its new format is such a pack of shite I've actually stopped watching it. Think you'll find the reason it's not on next week though is because they're doing a preview of the Rally of Australia.

Then it'll probably be back to car sumo, pallet slalom, that ponce with the Princess and the rest of the usual Drivel.

Someone in the letters page of the Daily Mirror yesterday said Drivel was the best motoring prog on tv.
Second was 5th gear and 3rd Top Gear.

Sad man.

Hardly fair to compare Top Gear as it's only just shown one programme in the new format...

But that aside, I actually preferred Top Gear. 5th Gear comes a close second, but 5th Gear is basically the old format Top Gear when it comes down to it...
