Well, if you look up the name here on PH, you'll find CJ, who does, in fact race (well, did - and will again when he's built his Ultima).

Had me wondering for a while, but the TG Stig ermmmm, how can I put this....has less of an executive middle.

Would not be suprised if it was Colin Blower. Colin has done a lot of driving for Clarkson on video and TV and he is the right build as well.

Speaks with a French accent and is of short build (or something to that effect).
Doesn't help me much but may be enough for others to work out who Stig is ...

A colleague has just been filming a piece about Bike Engined Cars with the Stig and he does indeed have a French accent, he also smokes like a chimney (Stig, not my colleague).

I don't think its Tiff. Stig seems to lack the smoothness and control of Tiff.
Did any see him drive the GTI's last night?
