hi

now history caps on guys!

i'm trying to track down the old motorsport teams responsible for winning 4 WRC championships in the 1980s - as listed on another site, as tho it mentions the car 'makes' it dont state their sporting-teams who converted an raced them.

The 4 i'm researching are pasted below an come from this motorsport site which lists results etc.
- you'll note it says '(Gr. B)' next to each one, an tho i assume from this its a brit based team, i also noted that 'suburu' was 'not' stated like this, even tho their wrc team 'are' brit based, so wonder if i'm wrong here?
thus, any help is appreciated in helping me to uncover their old rally-teams :)

WRC World Ch. (drivers / manufacturers)...

1986 Juha KANKKUNEN / Peugeot (Gr. B)
1985 Timo SALONEN / Peugeot (Gr. B)
1984 Stig BLOMQVIST / Audi (Gr. B)
1983 Hannu MIKKOLA / Lancia (Gr. B)

ps- i'm also gonna contact the site about this, assuming they know any depth to what theyve typed in.

cheers 4 any pointers :)

(Gr.B) refers to the Group B class of rallying in the 80's
Peugeot was a factory team iirc and was run by Jean Todt now of Ferrari F1 fame.
Dont know much about the Lancia or Audi i'm afraid but assume yet again they were factory based.
