Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (Smartire)

Just got my new issue of the IAM magazine yesterday and they had an article about a new tyre pressure monitoring system that can be added to your wheels. Does anyone know anything about this - I thought it looked potentially quite interesting.
The company home page is www.metasystem.co.uk (with pic of TVR on it) and if you go to AutoTechnologies / Smartire you get some detail. There's a link to an another page called www.smartire.co.uk but I haven't been able to get to that one to work yet.
IAM article said price was £279 for the basic system with a 10% discount for IAM members.
