Well having got to bed at 4am I am now at home having had a nice roof off spin for 60 miles to clear my

Huge thanks to Ted for organising the event, and generally being an all round top bloke..

Special thanks to:

Boys:
Johno, Carzee, Scruff, Podie, Mungo, and Incorrigable.

Girls:
Caro, Mrs Carzee, Rivergirrl, Jo, "Mrs Fish" (who's name escapes me), and that other one whose name also escapes me.

Other thanks, to everyone else who made it such a great event and all of you who voted for me in the UB40 award section

I've heard you lose 1 unit of alcohol per hour so Im looking forward to being sober again some time on thursday

Finally, in a Mungo Stylee:

I love you guys

Certainly was a top night

Big thanks to Ted for organising it all (and Domster!) and might I just say "top band!"

Great to meet you all and put faces to the cyber personalities...

Anyway, enough of all that, what we really want to know is... have a good night, Mungo????

Superb. Well done Ted and Domster. That really was one of the best evenings I've been to.

Made loads of new friends and re-aquainted with a few old ones too.

My head hurts and 5 hours sleep isn't enough

And a final thanks to the Japester who nicked my car keys and moved the Tamora 300 yards from where I left it. My face would have been a picture....

And thanks to everyone who voted for me and Benno!

Shouldn't you lot still be in your hotel rooms with your faces down the bog?

Methinks you didn't try hard enough last night.

Who was the band, or can't you remember?

Nice! It has to be said that the only place I DIDN'T see your car keys all night was in your pocket...

Scruff - was that a tactical chunder?

Just had a lovely run back. Stopped off at Big Bronze in Hungerford....only to have a rather lovely convertible Aston park up next to us. Veeeerrrry nice.

Anyway. Thanks to Ted and Domster for an excellent night, brilliantly organised, well executed.

What really made it, of course, was the people there - seldom have I been to one of these things where there was a greater sense of camaraderie.

Of course..that could have been the enormous quantity of alcohol.

you know the bit that goes in here

Oh and Scruff - awesome outfit! You are a braver man than I that's for sure.

Oh the shame... the ignominy..

What a top laugh that was

Cheers all - a true night to remember ... I fear Incorrgible's photos might serve to remind me all too well..

I shall now retire to my bed.. I might be gone some time...

Just got home after a nice steady cruise home in mini-convoy with Harrigan and Heidi. Finally nice driving weather! Enjoying a rather large strong coffee now, and contemplating a roast lunch...mmm....lunch....

Great party, Ted, and superbly organized, Domster. Congradulations on a fantastic BTaP, and we all look forward to the next one.

Superb day and what an evening!

Thanks to PetrolTed and Domster for the fantastic organisation. Really good to meet so many like-minded petrolheads and put faces to the online personas.

Highlights were many and varied, but probably not to be repeated here....

Great night! As someone else said, the people make these occasions and we're lucky to have such a great bunch of partying types to make a fab evening.

Didn't feel so good at this morning...

Big thanks to Stig for making the awards - they looked great. He didn't looko great by 4am. Never seen him so hammered!

Thanks to everybody for making BTaP a special evening, especially Ted & Domster.

Thanks for the raffle prize, I will let Carzee recover before penning the complaint letter.

The head seem to have cleared after the 5 hours sleep. It could be the wine/beer thats given me a rather than the lack of sleep. A sizable breakfast helped to clear the head and the drive back with the roof down was enjoyble. A few cokes with the Dorset TVRCC crew and I'm almost back to normal !

I hope everyone got home safely.

Same again next year ?

We got home a few hours ago in a top-down Lotus stylee. Pulled into the driveway just as the heavens opened and managed to get the roof up before anything got too soaked.

This afternoon we are mainly playing Scalextric.
Over the moon to win the top prize - I've never won anything of value before, so was very suprised to win the big one.

Top evening, much fun had by all (even if CarZee didn't offer me one of his nice cigars, but I guess that's just as well since I haven't had one in about 10 years)

Catch you all later
Jon
