I thought it was pretty boring this week compared to the past 2 but it was brilliant to see the Westfield beating the Zonda!

I wanna see the Tamora vs Boxster!!!!!!

And Ross Kemp thought the 996 Turbo was mid-engined. Ever thought some people don't deserve their cars???
Mind you, his time in the Suzuki seemed OK.
Granny donuts.....that 80 year old was awesome. Hope I can do that in my E30 M3 Sport Evo when/if I'm 80.

I mean... DB7 best looking car ever? My arse...

And they missed an enormous opportunity to paint T2k as the car hating luddite freaks that they really are..

Saw the season opener which, I thought, was great. Missed last weeks' episode but managed to tune in yesterday.
Wished I didn't. How boring can one become in two weeks' time. In the old series it was great fun to watch Tiff and Vicky battle it out on the track. This is the JC one man show; I do like the guys columns from time to time but this is too much. Max. 5 minutes of JC in a 60 minute programme would fun to watch. Forces him to stay pointy but this .... No not my cup of tea, far to much blah - blah - blah.
How original: you ask the top designer at Aston Martin (member of Ford's Premier Auto Group) and his counterpart at Volvo (member of Ford's Premier Auto Group) to design a Jaguar (member of Ford's Premier Auto Group) E-type for this Millennium. Result as expected.
No JC: you are on the wrong track. btw you do get bold in the process

It seems to me they're still struggling to get good content for the entire hour. A lot of it was boring.

The grannies had me in stitches, though! Class act!

I knew that Westfield would be just the ticket to beat the Zonda. But can they go any quicker? Perhaps the Radical is even faster but you are pushing the concept of 'road car' to its limits.

Next week should be fun. Let's see what Clarkson has to say about the 575...

Though I'm not exactly T2K's most fervent opponent, Clarkson undoubtedly missed a prime opportunity. He read out one of their quotes that included a statement about using public transpoort, then made a joke about getting to Newcastle and was he supposed to walk.

Err, bollocks. I'm from Gateshead and I reckon I've done the journey many more times than he has.

Mr Clarkson - in daylight hours from almost any point in London and most of the South East, you will NEVER get to Newcastle faster by car than by public transport (LGW-NEW flying or Kings Cross-New Central BR).

But if you really had to be there, you couldn't trust public transport to get you there. I've been let down by public transport too often to trust it when I've got to be somewhere...

I thought it was a good program last night. The stuff with the designers was interesting. It does at least dig a little deeper into the issues that will affect car design in the future etc. Granny stuff was a bit curious but they're experimenting. Give them credit for trying something new.

There are some rose tinted glasses being worn with regard to Top Gear of old. Yes, it had its moments, but it also had a lot of tedious reviews of dull cars. At least Clarkson makes dull car reviews interesting.
