Tyre Choice

Now that winter draws closer those of us who still want to drive like idiots on the corners need to choose something that will help us stay there a little longer.

So what suggestions people got not concerned with long life more stonking grip and good performance in wet. had yoko's but wet can be interesting toyo's where good but not as good as yoko's in dry, suggestions please are bridgestones worth the extra?

I've just had a new pair of SO3's fitted to the arse of my Tiv, huge improvement on adhesion.

Now sure whether you can get them in the size your yor pug. I've got Michelin Primacies on the SAAB, again, seem very good in the wet.

I just put a set of S03`s on my (RWD) 200SX, very happy with them wet or dry. Big improvement over the old standard RE010`s

Have found Goodyear Eagle F1s to be AWESOME allrounders. If you ewant dry grip for a little sacrifice in the wet try the Toyo Proxes RA-1..... not sure on its road legality over in the UK though since the RA1 is a DOT approved race tyre.
The Eagle F1 is simply awesome I've found. I'd reccomend em to anyone

Thirded. Never found the need to try anything lose since I switch to F1's, and I'm looking forward to trying the F1 GSD3's once I've worn my current set out.

I slapped some Toyo T1's on my 'F' last year, they're still going strong and i cant complain about the grip they provided especially at the price i payed for them.

Ive got Yoko A539 on my Golf and think they are the best tyre ive ever had in wet & dry on a fwd car.
Grip like hell, dont sqeal, last ages what more do you want.

I've got Goodyear Eagles on my Corrado, but not the F1's. I've got Goodyear Eagle Ventura. Quite astonishingly good in the wet.

I have Eagle's on my integrale but they are Eagle FS-A's, not the poncy V shaped jobbies . Very good.

Would second the bridgestone reccomendations but with one warning - the grip is great in the wet, until it lets go without any warning.

Got Contis at the moment, and they have noticably less 'ultimate grip' than the old SO3's, but they seem more progressive in the wet.
